I am a 1990s middle-child born & bred in Louisville, KY :)

I live with my boyfriend Zack, two cats, and our dog. I like reading, gardening, and growing my own vegetables…and then I love to take lots of photos of those vegetables! And occasionally I try to run half marathons. Emphasis on the try.

Katherine Mason photography was formed in 2025, but I actually picked up my first camera in…2002? Photography was one of my favorite creative outlets as a child, and I’m thankful to say it still is! (I just have a better camera now).

Currently, photography is a part-time job. I am a Technical Design Analyst in the Telecommunications industry and I still do this full-time.

Since I began this business in fall of 2025, I have been blessed with opportunities to help my clients capture their most important life events, and preserve them in a very special way.

My goal is always to give you and your family the best possible experience. Your kids are only this exact age once, and I know you would do anything to capture these moments and freeze them forever. I can help you do just that!

I love helping parents obtain those timeless photos of their wild and wonderful toddlers, precious newborns, soon-to-be-driving teens, and any age in-between. I emphasize play and family fun at my sessions, with the goal of genuine emotion in every image you receive.
